Portable setup getting the job done today in #Brisbane. Knocked over takes of acoustic guitars and vocals for two tunes. Made the rest of the music remotely from video demos and got some help from @stevenpope on the kit from sunny #Melbourne.
A classic that I don’t play enough. Great to smash the unmistakable tones of the Strat today in a session. Love the large 70s headstock!

Good times all this week and next with Roy's super weird and epic tunes. He's tuning in from Brisbane, Steve Pope - Drummer is working out drum parts from Melbourne, and I'm in the mountains making all the jokes. All of us can hear studio quality audio as well, which makes it feel like we're in the same room (for better or worse!).
Yesterday in Ballarat with my great friend Ric Formosa. Love this guy - one of Australia’s best composers and players with a million great stories from Italy, Canada and his time in the early days of Little River Band. Hopefully we can spend much more time together in the near future!

Car session yesterday - dropped in some tracks from a session player in America, did some backing vocals on a couple of songs (@seelectronics DCM8 shoved into the steering wheel!).

Working on some tunes for a songwriter down in Tasmania with a ‘pyschadelic / spaghetti western’ direction. Heaps of fun leaning into stuff like this with the aim to be creative and super vibey.

Complete! Two more SSL 9000k preamps to add to the collection. These two will probably sit on the mix bus for the foreseeable future and print into every project when it comes to the final mix. They include a really nice HPF on the bottom Grayhill knob too!
Knocking over two more SSL 9000 style preamps designed by @seventhcircleaudio. Great to use on acoustic instruments and also as a fantastic summing option to tighten up low end.
